Ohhhhhh my goodness. This game was delightfully creepy - I normally don't play horror games, but I had heard such wonderful things about this game that I wanted to give Karamu a shot, and my god, I am so glad I did!!

Nellie is such a unique protagonist in otome land (I can't think of anyone heading off to veterinary school!) and the composition and animation made the game feel like I was flipping through pages of a comic book.

I also want to add that the walkthrough was super helpful, and that you did a fantastic job of capturing that creepy five AM atmosphere! I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time, and also: the arachnophobia warning was honestly a bit of an understatement LMAO, but we persevered!! Thank you for sharing this with us. It was a treat, and I can't wait until I have more time to play the sequel!

To be honest I couldn't be too objective while playing this game because Raku is basically just like my ex, and it felt honestly so weird to play a game like this with someone that reminds me that much of him. The break-up is fairly recent so it just makes it even weirder- PLUS, some things are word-for-word texts that he sent me, so it was a surreal experience, ngl, but besides that, I reeeally loved this game!! Some of the endings were particularly hard due to my situation, but I honestly really loved it!! Also, I want to directly thank you for adding a walkthrough inside the game, it made me so honestly happy to see it!!! <33

this is by far one of the best horror-romance vns I've played. 10/10, in love with the voice acting and characters. would play again for the first time if I had the chance!

the story managed to subvert the expectations of Raku as a character trope. the twists of the story is also unexpected, but a very welcome change of pace from this usual type of story. i didnt expect the cg to have animations. it makes everything look flowy and soft. i expected flowers to wind by the characters.

loved the designs of the characters. its cute, Nelli's red eyes and Raku's glowing eyes... i loved berry much <3

oooh and Nelli.. im very interested about the dynamics to be honest Ówò the unusual way the story build itself and characters chemistry. 10/10.

omg I love this game. Its cutie and creepy at the same time, I wasn't prepared for the plot twist. I've difficult to find alone ''Good ending''but the game ( also dev) helped people like me to encouter <33333 ( The english is not my first language, sorry for the errors). AND WE NEED THE PART2 of this amazing and wonderful history 

I really enjoyed this, very polished work for a game jam and made by a solo dev like wow!! Also it was very nice to see a black woman as the protagonist :D

I honestly love this game its certainly has its twists which suprised me a lot but were also enjoyable !

Well this game was a surprise for me. 

Voice acting great and oh boy was I not actually expecting animations at all =D They are very nice and did the trick. But boy oh boy, "don't play this game if you're afraid of spiders" made me a bit thinking if I should play it.

And I mean, yandere, spiders, not my piece of the cake right? NO. You've made the game so nice that I couldn't resist and played it to get all endings. 4th one is my favorite (No surprise there duh xD)  

Great job! You've made arachnophobe to actually like this spider xD (and kind of wanting one like that for myself >w<)

I loved the game. 10/10. The art style, voice acting, the twists and turns were amazing and beautiful and very cool. The twist in which Raku was a spider was a very great twist I liked it he was kinda cute as a spider. The ending in which Nelli was hiding in her apartment and was protecting her cat i think the spider who paid her a visit was Raku he was watching over her which is so cute and i love how he is a yandere. I love Nelli's voice she sounds pretty. I JUST LOVE THE GAME AND HOW ITS MADE! THANK YOU AND BYE BYE!

is it bad if i still love raku even after all this stuff happened (even the big reveal thingy)?? T^T because istg the only thing i want to do after he shows the "real him" is to hug raku tightly because man that must be rough showing your real monster identity to someone you love the most like that. also, i'm really glad this isn't like other yandere otome where the yandere love interest clearly did bad things that affected the MC even though they did think it's the best. but no, raku loves her so much and is willing to protect her from the bad i think that's why he didn't tell her about his spiderman situation in the first place and he only did so when it's the best thing to do. although yeah poor girl's mental state must be restored after this and it'd take a while.

i literally thought raku was the one who killed sana at first because of the usual yandere jealousy stuff lmao but i'm really REALLY glad that's not the case. in fact, raku's deep analysis about why nelli would hurt him is such a pleasant scene to watch, because even a normal person would sometimes struggle to think logically and try to find the reason when they've been hurt by the people they love. and the fact that nelli is doing that is mindblowing too XD. all in all, this game has been such a great ride and i think i'm going to replay it a few times to see my baby raku again.

SPIDER MAN?? my first thought when raku transformed was "goddamn put those suckers away" LOL it was definetly a twist i never saw it was creepy to see him just...swinging there too but the ending i got was odly cute also i love the voice acting and the small animations its so satifying to see the characters move it makes it feel more real!

this was by far one of the best visual novelI had ever played the characters and the animation was stunning, even the voice actors were amazing. I truly am amazed with this visual novel

HELLO???? I gotta say I just came across this delectable vn (seeing the yandere tag ofc) and I finished it up in one go BECAUSE THIS WAS SO GOOD?? WTH??? I'M JUST SO AMAZED-- the voice acting, the art, the UI, the sound design??? Everything was just perfect and it felt so good that to hear out the duo's dynamic and dang. Raku's too wholesome, man /hj love them both so much

All in all, I love both the suspense and romance, the fact that they both aren't necessarily evil or nice wholly is what gives them life/more in depth, even Raku is loveable <3

I felt bad (literally cried a bucket) when I had to be mean to him especially the last resort act that Nelli did. The first thing I noticed that gave clues were the spider sticker on his jacket and that 'Kumo' part of Raku's name, turns out his entire name is related to spider.. I was like, no way, he is a spider?? That kiss was so sweet I couldn't turn him down even though it might have left a bad taste in mouth but it was okay because he helped! >w< i would be hyped for another story of this couple after their 'happily ever after'..! Great job!

i love the tutorial at the beginning! it's the first time i've seen that and i think it was a nice and helpful addition. the art is stellar!! and the writing!!!!! the story was super captivating and i loved exploring all 4 endings (especially the last one 👀). all in all i think this is an amazing vn and im super happy i decided to play it!! 

Man I think this might be one of the last VNs I play..((another VN (that I was so excited for the update) wasn't supporting 32 and they said Ren'py isn't supporting 32 anymore-so sad for me)) I'm not saying I regret playing you game cuz I love your game (especially with the plot twists in the endings)

The art is AMAZING and the voice acting is INCREDIBLE and the ui is completely different from what I usually see (like the template yk).  Like all the stuff was ORIGINAL. I'm just not use to not being able to scroll back to previous texts and when right clicking it doesn't go to save (but idk if this is a problem but then again you weren't testing on 32-I don't think it would matter anyways)

I probably can't play more of your games (ahem the sequel) in the future but this is a very good game!!!(and to all those who are just reading the comments go play it already)

I rarely makes comments but this one makes it worth it. Game went beyond my expectations annnd that plot twist !! 10/10. 

The VA's did an excellent job as well and honestly had me simping over karamu even more lol. Overall, this game was chef's kiss. I'll def be on the lookout for future games done by you and ngl I would not mind if there was a sequel to this...after a good break ofc <3

Wow, this game was so well made that I couldn't believe it was for a jam. The animation, interface, sprites and even the voice acting were so polished. I especially enjoyed the way Rakuo was baring his soul to our protagonist and sharing all his intimate feelings. The angst was real. 

Something else I liked is how you gently reveal more about the story and the characters as you go on and there are little hints scattered in the game to what happened. Also how neither character was as innocent as they seemed. 

I am not sure what this says about me but I really found Rakuo adorable, especially how blushy he was during the kiss scene. It's so nice having a supportive boyfriend who would even help you get away with murder.
